The company is sponsoring an online contest asking owners or employees of greenhouses a simple question: what is the best part about working in the greenhouse industry?
The grand prize is an iPad Mini.
Growers are already weighing on the question.
“Everyone seems to enjoy different aspects of the industry,” says Richard Hebbourn, communications specialist at GGS, “and it’s great that we’re already seeing a positive response.”
The best answers will be posted on the GGS website during the month of June, and users will have the chance to vote on their favourite entry.
“Ultimately, we plan to use these answers to promote the industry, illustrate the benefits of working in a greenhouse, and encourage more people to consider working in the industry,” said Hebbourn.
“Greenhouse growers have their own unique stories that are both entertaining and inspirational, and we want them to share.”
The contest concludes June 1, and votes for the best entry can be registered throughout the remainder of the month.
