Pre-conference events include a one-day bus tour of Edmonton area greenhouses and garden centres, where delegates will have an opportunity to explore successful business operations. Another pre-conference event is the annual Nursery Grower’s Auction which raises money for ornamental plant research.

The GISC is located in the heart of downtown Edmonton at the Shaw Conference Centre, one of Alberta’s premier exhibition facilities.
