hosted by Schenck Farms and Greenhouses.

browsed through one of Canada’s largest garden mum trials this morning at an open house
hosted by Schenck Farms and Greenhouses.
The trials have been held for several years. More than 100 varieties were displayed. Participating breeders this year were GroLink and Syngenta.
Helping greet visitors were Terry Talsma and Mark Smith from Syngenta, Bernard Chodyla from GroLink, Rob Fluit from JVK, and Lou Schenck.
Varieties with larger flowers were among the market trends noted, along with increasingly vibrant colours that don't fade.
