FCO’s fundraiser for floriculture’s future

June 30, 2017, Fenwick, Ont. – ‘Cecil Delworth’ was the big winner at this week’s 45th annual golf tournament hosted by Flowers Canada Ontario.

Proceeds from the tournament support the Cecil Delworth Foundation and its focus on floriculture research. The event was held at Peninsula Lakes Golf Club.

Among the award winners:

Low Gross: Matt Ryan and Clinton Buttar (in photo), and Ted Vanderkay (who had to leave early).

Founders’ Trophy: Gordon Jahn, Kelly Devaere, Brian Rosenberg and Darcy Olds. This is the team’s second straight year in winning this award.

Most Honest: Colleen O’Gorman, Eileen Pilitteri, Molly Horton and Bonnie Giampa.

Ladies Longest Drive: Nancy Boekestyn.

Men’s Longest Drive: Ray Gibson.

Ladies Closest to Pin: Sandy Jeffery.

Men’s Closest to Pin: Jeff Groen.

Closest to Restaurant Drive: Dan Newhouse.
