Jan. 16, 2013, Toronto — The Canadian Gift and Tableware Association (CGTA) has recognized three exceptional retail suppliers of giftware with its 2012 Supplier of the Year Award.
Nominated by retailers across the country, these standout Canadian suppliers were chosen based on a variety of criteria, including their extensive range of quality product offerings and outstanding customer service.
International kitchen and table products supplier Trudeau Corp. (Boucherville, Que.) won in the large company category.
In the medium sized category, the award went to Indonesian and Chinese-influenced giftware, furniture and home décor supplier, Komme International (Mississauga, Ont.).
In the small sized category, The Wild Bird Trading Co. (Newmarket, Ont.) took home the top prize. The company is the only full line supplier of wild bird and backyard nature products in Canada.
David Youngson of Elby Gifts Inc. and Taly Company Ltd. received honourable mention.
All awards will be presented at a gala evening, to be held during the Spring 2013 Toronto Gift Show, taking place Jan. 27 to 31.
