BioWorks welcomes new faces

BioWorks has welcomed a number of new faces to their team in recent months.

Ted McDonald was named director of sales, responsible for managing product sales and growing the BioWorks family of products, services and programs to support its customers in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Central America.

With over 20 years of sales and management experience in the horticulture industry, McDonald has previously held positions at Bailey Nurseries, Wells Nursery, and Hines Horticulture. His responsibilities ranged from operations and logistics to training and strategy.

Anna Chapman joined the team as the new technical services manager, responsible for managing the technical services team while providing guidance to internal and external customers on BioWorks’ products and programs.

Chapman has over 14 years of agricultural crop protection experience with a focus on entomology. She previously held positions at BASF, North Carolina State University and Virginia Tech. Her responsibilities ranged from field and lab research to trial management and product launch support.

Julie Graesch was recently named biological program manager, insect management, responsible for accelerating the adoption and commercial sales of current and new insect management products.

Graesch has 13 years of experience as a biological scientist and entomologist, practised in laboratory, greenhouse and field research, as well as biological technical service support for the integrated pest management industry. She previously held positions at BASF, Becker Underwood, and Iowa State University. Her responsibilities ranged from field development to agriculture and horticulture research projects in support of new and existing product development.
