Greenhouses Open House.
Sept. 16, 2013, Kleinburg, Ont. — Growers wanting ideas for next year's crop mix came to the right place at the annual George Sant & Sons Greenhouses Open House.
Hundreds of growers from throughout Ontario and Quebec attended the event.
Dozens of new varieties were showcased. Participating breeders included Ball FloraPlant, Selecta, Burpee Home Gardens, Darwin Perennials, Pan Am Seed and Dummen.
Among highlights was the annual Garden Mum trials. Participating breeders included Ball, Syngenta and Grolink.
