New ‘George Morris Centre’ initiatives

August 28, 2012  By Treena Hein

The 'George Morris Centre' is located in Guelph, Ontario.

This week, the University of Guelph’s ‘George Morris Centre’ announced some new exciting initiatives for the agriculture industry on their new website. Featuring policy, economics, education and market analysis, this website is a great resource, says 360 Energy’s Lisa Brodeur.

“Along with the launch of the new website, the Centre also offers a new quarterly report called Agri-Food Policy Matters,” says Brodeur. The first edition came out last week and is available to members through the website. It is in an easy-to-read format. Many other reports are also available, some to members and some to the public.

“Lastly, the George Morris Centre is now offering scholarships to MBA students in the College of Management and Economics at the University of Guelph. This scholarship will assist MBA students who are working towards the improvement of management in the agri-food services. For more information on any of these items, go to www.georgemorris.org .”
