Kam’s Growers Supply has been hiring and expanding responsibilities for existing staff to start off 2021.

Hailey Ashbee is a published, award-winning Masters of Environmental Science graduate from the University of Guelph,  with a focus on entomology. She has since been busy working with some notable Niagara growers on integrated pest management. She will primarily cover the Niagara region and will hit the ground running assisting Kam’s customers.

Steve Droog, a Kam’s sales representative since 2009, will maintain selected accounts in Niagara that he has cultivated through the years but will transition others to Ashbee. His role will be expanded into the nursery market sector, providing sales support to most of the Ontario nursery accounts.

With his extensive product knowledge, hands-on growing experience and familiarity with the nursery industry, Droog will help Kam’s advance and continue to grow this side of the business.

Last but certainly not least, Serge Leclair, now living in Quebec full-time, will focus on existing and new Quebec customers. With Kam’s for seven years, Leclair – a Francophone by heart and now address – continues to grow the Quebec territory offering comprehensive support on the use of bios, fertilizer, plant growth regulators and crop protection products.

Leclair will still be involved with the nursery industry and continue his work with Landscape Ontario and selected nursery accounts in Ontario.
