Fafard recently announced a new commercial partnership with Nutrite during the company's open house event on Aug. 27. In front of more than 300 customers, that Marc Vaillancourt and Martin Bisaillon, respectively president and sales manger of Nutrite and Martin Fafard and Michel Levesque, respectively president and vice president, sales and marketing of Fafard revealed this agreement regarding the Nutrite brand.
Fafard will become the exclusive distributor of the Nutrite branded retail products to garden centres and hardware stores and also takes on the complete management and development of the Nutrite brand name at the retail level.
"This partnership was a logical move since the Nutrite products are known for their quality and exist for over 50 years which makes them an excellent complement to the Fafard natural fertilizers and soils. Furthermore, both companies serve the same customers who will therefore benefit from ordering and receiving all their products from one single source. Finally, the expertise Fafard has acquired over the years in the field of product development and marketing will be reflected in the evolution we are undertaking of the Nutrite brand," says Michel Levesque.
This agreement fits Fafard’s retail development strategy and its objective of offering customers a complete line of products. More than 50 additional Nutrite brand products are added to the already broad range of Fafard products presently offered to its customers.
