National survey opens to greenhouse and indoor growers
February 2, 2021 By Greta Chiu
Greenhouse Canada is bringing back the annual Grower Survey for ornamental and vegetable farmers across the controlled environment agriculture (CEA) sector in Canada.
This includes greenhouse, vertical farming and other indoor farming facilities
Having gone through such an unprecedented year, gaining a snapshot of the Canadian CEA sector is more important than ever. And the results don’t simply end up on a page in the magazine, they help the sector track changes from year to year. Plus, they reveal trends, gaps and opportunities for those supporting the sector to better tailor their work towards what’s needed.
For growers, this forms a good benchmark – where are you among the pack?
Aimed towards ornamental and vegetable CEA operators, the survey should take no longer than 10 minutes to complete. It includes high level questions, including key challenges in 2020, changes in technology use and plans for 2021. All responses will remain confidential and secure, and information will be reported in aggregate only.
As a thank you for your time, entries will be entered into a draw for one of 12 gift cards to Tim Hortons valued at $25 each.
The survey deadline is March 15, 2021, but why not take it now, while you have a moment? Click here to start the survey: https://forms.gle/z2MqBecwrgr9N2YX8
For cannabis growers, Greenhouse Canada will be partnering with sister magazine Grow Opportunity to run a survey with slightly different questions. This will be unveiled in the next few months.
