Nancy Boekestyn has joined Ball Seed as their new Canadian Regional Business Manager.
Supporting the Canadian sales team and the company’s distribution centre in Ontario, Boekestyn says she looks forward to strengthening supplier relations to better serve their customers.
“It is exciting to work with multiple breeders and suppliers, and to have an extensive product line to support and sell,” she tells Greenhouse Canada. “What interests me most about the position is that I will be working with a larger scope of sales representatives, suppliers and customers.”
Boekestyn has a long history within the horticultural sector. She was the Canadian Division Sales Manager at Berger for over three years. Previous to that, she worked at Specialties Robert Legault for over 14 years, serving as their Canadian Sales Director for more than a decade.
“I am thrilled to continue my career within the horticulture industry,” she says, expressing her excitement for this change from specializing in growing media to focusing on ornamental genetics. “Each season brings bigger, better, brighter genetics. Working with many breeders worldwide allows us to sell the best of the best.”
Boekestyn started in her new role in February this year.
