MilStop OK’d for use on strawberries in Canada

February 27, 2017  By Dave Harrison

Feb. 21, 2017, Victor, NY – MilStop® has been approved for use in Canada on greenhouse and field strawberries, as well as artichokes.
The PMRA approved the User Requested Minor Use Label Expansion (URMULE) in early February and an updated label is available on the PMRA web site.
MilStop is an OMRI Listed contact foliar biofungicide from BioWorks for the control/suppression of powdery mildew. It fully dissolves in water, leaves no residue and dries quickly with a four-hour REI.
“MilStop is an important tool for many of our growers in Canada,” said Joe Gionta, director of marketing and sales.
“This label expansion is critical for growers who use biopesticides to fight resistance and reduce chemical use. New customers can now discover what existing customers already know, that MilStop is an excellent choice for disease control.”
