May 2015 – The strong upright stems of Penstemon Boysenberry Taffy (pictured) bear wide trumpets for up to two months with deadheading. It works well for good cut flowers and feature sprightly spikes of berry-wine blooms with small white throats...
It reaches 18-20" tall and is hardy to Zones 7-9.
Speed ahead to increased sales with Muhlenbergia capillaris ‘Fast Forward<ss>PPAF</ss>’, an exclusive Emerald Coast Growers selection. Flowering begins in August (late July in warm climates), significantly earlier than others in the species. Glowing orbs of delicate sunlit purple flowers dance over symmetrical, compact mounds of fine flat foliage. ‘Fast Forward’ is more refined in shape than any other muhly. It prefers sun to part shade and grows 24 to 30" tall (4' in flower). It is hardy to Zones 6-10.
