Waterfall filters from Little Giant

Apr. 7, 2014 — Little Giant's biological waterfall filters were created to help maintain a balanced ecosystem.

Available in two sizes and supporting a max flow of 5,000 or 10,000 GPH, the filters use the latest technology to decrease maintenance time and provide quick, tool-less access to the filters while keeping the plumbing hidden.

The filters have a circular, ribbed design for maximum strength, Matala filter pads that last longer and create ideal bacteria counts, and vortex action that helps settle debris and distribute water evenly over filter pads.

The filter can also be used as a bog filter or to create a “man-made wetland.” Adding plants to the waterfall filter can help remove excess nutrients and improve water quality while providing a beautiful background for the pond, showcasing plants and allowing more pond surface area to remain open.
