May 21, 2012 — Syngenta Flowers is adding more colour, choice and versatility to every growing season with the release of its 2012-2013 new varieties catalogue.
The catalogue features 123 new varieties from Goldsmith Seeds and GoldFisch Vegetative.
"We are thrilled about the number of new varieties we have for growers this year and the quality of plants they will be able to produce through the genetics," said Keelan Pulliam, head of Syngenta Flowers. "In developing the new varieties, we really focused on our customers' core needs within the growing seasons to maximize their profitability."
The 2012-2013 line up includes:
- 101 new seed varieties, including seven brand new seed series: WonderFall trailing pansy, Picobella Cascade mini trailing petunia, Duvet compact petunia grandiflora, Tumbler trailing impatiens, Fleur en Vogue cyclamen, Cartwheel gerbera and Elephant giant gerbera
- 10 new additions to the Kwik Kombos vegetative mix program
- Eight new vegetative varieties including three new colours in the Calliope geranium series and three new additions to the Lanai verbena series
The catalogue showcases not only the wealth of new varieties from Syngenta Flowers, but also reflects a streamlined assortment that better fits the needs of today's marketplace.
