Award-winning plant and tree remedies showcased at Landscape Ontario Show

February 12, 2016  By Dave Harrison

Feb. 12, 2016, Toronto — Arborjet, a company developing remedies for the most destructive plant and tree insects and diseases, showcased its leading IMA-jet and NutriRoot™ products, and tree trunk injection delivery equipment at this year’s Landscape Ontario Congress.

“Our solutions provide Canadian municipalities and property owners with effective, fast and economical remedies to combat, invasive insect pests while also offering solutions to improve plant vigour,” said Russ Davis, president and COO of Arborjet. “We are delighted to showcase our suite of products and equipment to the Canadian market this week.”

Backed by independent university research from Michigan State University, IMA-jet works via tree trunk injection to combat tree pests like the Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) and the Asian Longhorned Beetle (ALB). The research showed excellent results against EAB and demonstrated extended residual efficacy.

Available to certified Canadian tree care service providers, IMA-jet is an effective, fast and economical solution, requiring low material costs and allowing for fast application in just minutes.

NutriRoot™ is a two-part solution that can be used during planting time or as a maintenance product for transplanted or mature trees, shrubs, landscape plants, and turf. Unique from many products on the market that are solely nutrient-based or a water management product, NutriRoot™ combines the two into one easy and effective treatment.

“Canadians can be confident that they are protecting their trees and plants with Arborjet’s leading solutions,” said Mike Thibeault, Urban Forest Innovative Solutions (UFIS), Mississauga, Ontario. “With the onslaught of pests like Emerald Ash Borer, municipalities and homeowners alike need to be diligent in their proactive protection methods, and Arborjet allows them to do so more affordably and efficiently.”
