
Jan. 16, 2013, East Lansing, MI — Michigan State University Extension is offering a marketing class to help retail greenhouses and garden centres improve their marketing skills.
Dr. Bridget Behe with MSU’s department of horticulture will teach the four-hour, face-to-face course on Feb. 19 in Novi, Mich., and on March 12 in Grand Rapids, Mich.

- Improve and enhance sales skills to increase sales, especially of complementary products for add on sales
- Increase and refresh customer interaction skills to enhance sales
- Improve and refresh marketing knowledge of all levels of sales staff to increase knowledge about various customer segments and their needs or demands
- Enhance overall readiness to serve customers during the spring rush and increase customer satisfaction.
