Not content to use only traditional bedding plants, Sue incorporates new
vegetative annuals, perennials, tropical plants, and even some
evergreens. She discusses design principles such as colour, texture,
height, depth, and plant needs for light and nutrients. She also suggests
ideas for holidays and festive occasions, as well as pots for early
spring and fall decorating.
