Leamington grower adds compostable packaging, staff and acres

NatureFresh Farms is expanding – and in more ways than one.

For one, construction on their new 32-acre greenhouse is slated for completion soon, and plants will be in by May. The facility will be growing tomato assortments year-round using HPS lighting.

Secondly, NatureFresh will be unveiling their new compostable packaging for conventional and organic mini cucumbers at the CPMA convention and trade show this week. Manufactured by Pulp Molded Products, the packaging takes between 60 to 90 days for it to completely decompose.

Their team is also expanding with new retail sales account manager, Conor Chilvers. “I am excited for my first show as part of the NatureFresh Farms team,” says Conor of his CPMA debut. “I’m really looking forward to introducing my customers to the brand and telling the NatureFresh story”.
