Large CHP greenhouse project planned in Oregon

A natural gas-fired CHP plant and greenhouse project is planned in Oregon (image courtesy Canadian Association of Petroleum Producers).

A $60 million CHP project proposed in Oregon will produce natural gas-fired electricity and 35 acres of hydroponic vegetables.

The project — named the ‘Willamette Green Innovation Center’ — has signed a five-year produce purchase deal with Village Farms. For more, visit here.
