The Processing Associate must carry out day-to-day tasks including plucking, trimming, hanging, and drying of product.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Harvest and pre-/ post-processing of cannabis Operate an automated trimming machine
  • Quick and efficient manual trimming of cannabis
  • Execute pest management protocols as directed by QAP
  • Maintain all sanitation protocols
  • Keep daily records for accuracy and compliance with all the laws and Health Canada standards
  • Transport of pre- and post-processed cannabis between production environments
  • Understand and follow all related SOPs and procedures to GMP standards
  • Complete all required documentation using good documentation practices
  • Communicate any issues with Management

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years prior experience as a Processing Associate or a similar position
  • Previous ACMPR experience is considered an asset
  • Greenhouse and/or a horticultural diploma/degree preferred
  • Must have accountability, proactive behavior and strong attention to detail

Working Conditions:
  • Maybe be required to work on weekends and during holidays, from time to time
  • This is a physically demanding position which will require the ability to lift/move heavy objects (up to 50lbs), standing/crouching/bending for long periods of time throughout each shift
  • This is a greenhouse working environment, which may have continuous exposure to heat, light and humidity
