Nov. 22, 2013 – Jiffy International has been awarded ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 for its eight main worldwide activities.
The eight main worldwide entities encompassed within these certifications are Substrates, Preforma, Peat Harvesting, Coco, Tray/Engineering JSL, Pellets, Pots, and New Brunswick.
ISO specifies a set of requirements that covers production, trade, shipment and development, extraction, processing and engineering solutions.
"Through continuous improvement of management systems, quality control, product processes, logistics and a continual effort of lessening the environmental impact of these processes, Jiffy believes that obtaining ISO certification will be a win-win situation for our customers, the environment and our organization,” said a company spokesperson.
