Innovation is key to B.C.’s ambitious agricultural goals

Since 2008, the province's carbon tax has added an estimated $45 million in direct annual costs to food production.

Food producers report issues such as the carbon tax, competition and innovation need to be addressed by the B.C. Ministry of Agriculture if the province is to reach its goal of generating $14 billion in revenue by 2017.
