Aug. 6, 2013, Moncton — HortEast, Atlantic Canada’s premier horticulture
trade show and conference, will be celebrating 20 years of service to
growers this year.

Aug. 6, 2013, Moncton — HortEast, Atlantic Canada’s premier horticulture trade show and conference, will be celebrating 20 years of service to growers this year.

Held at the Moncton Coliseum Complex from Nov. 18-20, delegates will have the opportunity to meet with exhibitors from across Canada and the U.S., learn from leading industry experts during pre-show workshops and the two-day conference program, and network with peers from across Atlantic Canada.

The pre-show workshops (Nov. 18) include a presentation by retail specialist Ian Baldwin on “Key Ingredients for Retail Success – Retail 4.0.”

Conference program (Nov. 19-20) highlights include:

• “Trends in Horticulture,” with Anna Ball.

• “It’s Time to Grow Sales” and “Winning the Price Wars – How to Sell on Value and Win More Clients in the New Economy,” with Jeffrey Scott.

• “Re-inventing Garden Retail,” with Ian Baldwin.

 • “Technologies for Efficient Irrigation in Greenhouse Crop Production,” and “How to Fertilize Container Crops to Save Money and the Environment,” with Dr. Youbin Zheng.
