Jan. 2010 – Consumers still ask if garden mums are hardy. The answer is YES, if they
are Igloo hardy mums from Blooms of Bressingham®. Trials have shown the Igloo series is reliably hardy to Zone 5. Seeing is
believing, and we have seen Igloo plantings here at our offices in Ohio and
Pennsylvania survive the cold winter weather. Currently there are five
varieties – ‘Rosy Igloo' (coral red), ‘Sunny Igloo' (yellow), ‘Warm Igloo'
(orange/bronze), ‘Cool Igloo' (rich raspberry) and ‘Frosty Igloo' (white).
These varieties look like and grow like garden mums. How much easier can that
be!
