Aug. 26, 2013, National Harbor, MD — Independent gardens centres will have lots to look forward to next year when organizers of the IGC Show launch IGC East.
IGC Show founders Jeff and Cheryl Morey announced that IGC East will debut Aug. 5 to 7, 2014 at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Centre Complex in National Harbor, Maryland. IGC Chicago will convene at Navy Pier as usual, running Aug. 19 to 21, 2014.
Both IGC Shows will offer all the features and benefits the industry has come to expect: thousands of new products, free keynotes and headliner concerts, plus scores of educational conference sessions and networking opportunities. The addition of IGC East gives IGC retailers an opportunity to select the show that best fits their schedule and travel preferences.
"It's about choice and convenience," Jeff Morey said. "IGC East gives garden centers who were accustomed to doing their buying at the now-defunct East Coast Commerce distributor show a new centrally located resource with even more order-writing opportunities, plus the industry's biggest educational conference, keynotes, concert, networking opportunities and more – all at a time of year that makes the best sense for their businesses."
Industry buzz about IGC East has been hot right out of the gate.
