HortiSource teams up with Green Q

Green Q of the Netherlands to offer enhanced crop advice services to
North American growers.

July 6, 2009 — HortiSource Consulting Inc. of Canada is teaming up with Green Q of the Netherlands to offer enhanced crop advice services to North American growers.
Growers in Canada, the U.S. and Mexico will benefit from the closer ties between the two consulting firms. Green Q’s scheduled approach to crop management, including the GreenScheduler and other tools, will be more readily available to them.
HortiSource Consulting Inc. specializes in the growing and managing of pepper, cucumber and tomato crops. “We are located close to the growers and can utilize Green Q’s information to expand our existing knowledge and expertise for the benefit of our customers,” said HortiSource’s Cees VandenEnden.
“By working Green Q, HortiSource will have a more solid knowledge base to draw from in the areas of technique and growing processes, such crop lighting and semi-closed greenhouses.”
HortiSource has extensive consulting experience, including crop-specific decisions, labour management strategies, and new project development.
