coordinated by the Smaller Business Association of New England (SBANE).

May 12, 2014, Billerica, Massachusetts – Harvest Automation was a finalist in this year’s New England Innovation Awards program coordinated by the Smaller Business Association of New England (SBANE).

Innovation is at the heart of economic prosperity and SBANE continues to recognize those companies and organizations that have transformed their innovative ideas into a product or service that delivers proven value to customers.

“We were honored to be recognized as one of the 20 finalists from the over 200 nominees,” said John Kawola, CEO of Harvest Automation.

The company is a global leader in mobile autonomous robots for agriculture. Headquartered in Billerica MA, it was founded in 2008 by a seasoned
technology executive and a trio of robotics experts.

“There is an inspiring and growing level of energy within the startup community here in Massachusetts and we are excited to be part of it.”

Past winners include such notables as Staples, PictureTel, Ben & Jerry’s, Brooks Automation, Direct Tire, Genzyme, Nantucket Nectars, Imagitas!, Aurora Imaging Technology, and iRobot.
