will be the focus of next week’s CitiesAlive: 8th Annual Green Roof and
Wall Conference and Trade Show.

Nov. 24, 2010, Vancouver – The latest news on green roofs and green walls will be the focus of next week’s CitiesAlive: 8th Annual Green Roof and Wall Conference and Trade Show. It will be held Nov. 30 to Dec 3 at the Pan Pacific Hotel and Vancouver Convention Centre.

The conference is hosted by Green Roofs for Healthy Cities and the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT). More than 50 speakers will share the latest design integration, economic, social and environmental research.

CitiesAlive will recognize outstanding green roof and wall projects at the awards luncheon. Local design gurus Cornelia Oberlander and Theodore Osmundson will be presented Lifetime Achievement awards.

The tradeshow will feature the latest technologies and services, local and regional firms, and there are multiple tour opportunities.
