Jan. 4, 2012, Burlington, Ont. — Roll out the red carpet … the All-America Selections Summit is returning to Canada this summer.

This annual conference (Aug. 12-14) allows AAS participants, supporters, trade media and garden writers to view the AAS flower and vegetable trials courtesy of local host trials and display gardens.

Recent Summits in Canada were held in Ontario in 2004, and in Montreal in 2008.

Participants can learn first-hand exactly what the extensive AAS trialing and judging process is all about … and why it matters.

The focus will be on the Niagara Peninsula (Stokes Seeds and JVK), along with trial sites at William Dam Seeds and the University of Guelph. Also on the itinerary will be a tour of the Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington.
