Garden retailers react to pesticide ban

March 18, 2009 – Effective April 22, the new provincial legislation will prohibit the
use and sale of pesticides for cosmetic uses on lawns, gardens, parks
and school yards. The ban will be a challenge for retailers and lawn care companies, some
