Fundraising drive(s) for floriculture research

July 2, 2014, Fenwick, ON — Some 120 golfers teed off last month in their fundraising drive for floriculture research.

The 42nd annual Flowers Canada Ontario / Cecil Delworth Foundation
tournament was held at the challenging Peninsula Lakes Golf Club on June 25.

Accuracy award winners included Dave Bakker (Closest to the Wand), and Karen Lariviere (Closest to the restaurant).

Low Team Score – John Gardner, Steve Cosby, Bryan VanGeest and Mitch Molen, (score of 59). Gardner also won Men's Closest to the Pin.

Men's Longest Drive – Sean Chiki, with FCO president Gerard Schouwenaar.

Ladies Longest Drive – Karen Lariviere.

Ladies Closest to the Pin – Judy Colley.

Lowest Team Score (Age over 200) – Sarah Brien of Flowers Canada Ontario congratulates Paul Bongers, Dave DeHaan and  Rej Picard (score of 64).
