Oct. 16, 2012 — 3A Composites' new FiberMate recyclable, rigid graphic display boards are designed to provide excellent ink and paint adhesion.
FiberMate is comprised of wood fiber manufactured into high-density, 3.2 millimeter thick fibreboard. Both sides of the board are finished with Eco-Finish, a white water-based UV print coating that allows for double-sided printing and other double-sided finishing, including mounted graphics and painted designs.
The boards are available in 49-inch by 97-inch sheets and can be cut with a saw to suit each customer’s needs. The display boards can be used to create medium-term point-of-purchase displays, interior signage and exhibits and kiosks for long-term framing applications. The display boards
FiberMate can be recycled in either wood or paper waste streams, depending on local community resources and providing that printing inks and other finishing materials applied to the board are also recyclable.
