Balfour Greenhouses introduced the elite Bells series, a kalanchoe hybrid with clusters of tubular flowers that range in colour based on the variety. Displayed were ‘Lucky Bells’ and ‘Magic Bells.’

Also presented was the extremely popular and endlessly flowering Somona™ Euphorbia x lomi. Balfour is the exclusive, licensed Canadian grower.

In addition to these new offerings, Balfour’s petite and trendy “minis” and elegant phalaenopsis orchids were other attention-getters.

Northend Gardens showcased its impressive ‘Medinilla Magnifica,’ the newest exclusive plant in North America. Medinilla is a timeless beauty that will add elegance in any room.

There are approximately 400 species of medinilla, and – until now – only ‘Magnifica’ is supplied as a houseplant. It is the only medinilla with splendid pink flyleaves and such a large flower.

Its beautiful pink flowers can grow to a length of approximately 50 cm and are a joy to behold.
