continues to be one of the hottest attractions at Landscape Ontario’s
Expo Garden and Floral fall trade show.

Oct. 15, 2012, Toronto — Year after year, the New Product Showcase continues to be one of the hottest attractions at Landscape Ontario’s Expo Garden and Floral fall trade show.

The show opens Wednesday (Oct. 17) at the Toronto Congress Centre and continues on Thursday.

The show is open from 10-5 on Wednesday, and 10-4 on Thursday.

Expo’s annual display of the plants and products showcases what will be in demand from consumers over the coming season. Expo is the ideal place to spot the trends that will be all the rage when garden centres begin preparing for spring 2013.

“From garden aids to pest control to patio furniture, the products featured at Expo’s New Product Showcase will give retailers a competitive edge for the coming season,” says show manager Heather MacRae.

“The New Products on display this year feature more blooms, unique colours and ways to enhance soil to support a variety of plants. They will inspire customers with ideas for bringing their gardens to life as a backyard oasis.”

Featured new products include a new range of hydrangeas and weigelas, innovations in insect control and ideas from insulated water bottles to decorative clay-and-twig tiles that add comfort and character to homeowners' gardens.

Expo 2012 is Canada's fall show for the garden and floral industry. Over 2,500 buyers will attend the expo. It showcases new products, recent plant and floral introductions, and features numerous product demonstrations.
