Root rots often sneak up in the spring, but can affect any crop in the greenhouse. An overall Integrated Disease Management (IDM) program is the key to keeping things clean.
Dr. Mary Hausbeck is a Michigan State University distinguished professor and Extension Specialist in plant pathology with responsibilities in research and extension. Crop assignment includes vegetables and greenhouse ornamentals. Her current research emphasis is the management of Botrytis and downy mildews of greenhouse ornamentals.
