New Blooms for Canadian Nurseries and Retailers July 15, 2021

Join us for a Professional Plant Growers Day, tour the New Varieties at Deb’s Greenhouse.
This event is for professional plant growers, suppliers to the Garden Centre industry, media and plant experts. If you are a greenhouse grower, a flower grower, a veggie grower, a horticulturist this will be a day of learning and networking and you’re welcome to attend. Lunch provided. There will be other days for the general public please watch facebook for updates.

10:30am: Pre-recorded presentation by Robert Bett, President of Plant Haven International
New plant introductions for 2022
11:00am: Speaker John Bouw from Red Deer, Alberta
“Retired” John Bouw is a horticultural icon in Alberta. John will share his story of how he came to Alberta, his successes at Dentooms Greenhouses and how he brought Proven Winners to Alberta; a career to be proud of.
Lunch: Catered lunch and beverages provided
1:00pm: Speaker Chris Berg, Marketing Director, Dummen Orange
Chris will take us on a tour of the Dummen display at California Summer Trails (CAST)
2:00pm: Speaker Dr. Allan Hammer – tentative
Renowned speaker and friend of the Industry, Dr. Hammer has had a life long career in horticulture. From Professor at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana to Crop Specialist at Dummen Orange, Dr. Hammer can speak on just about anything horticulture related.
Through out the day you are welcome to visit the plant displays at your leisure.
