Entryways launches spring and summer lines

Nov. 16, 2012 — The 2013 spring and summer collection of decorative doormats is now available from Entryways.
Entryways’ doormats are handmade, created by artists in a variety of
styles that offer warm, whimsical and elegant ways to welcome guests to
a home.
“Each one is handmade by local craftsmen in Kerala, the
most southwestern state in India,” said Eirini Kalafatides, president
of Entryways. “This vital cottage industry provides a fair and steady
source of income and supports a sustainable community.”
Each mat
is handwoven with coir, which comes from the husk of coconuts, and is
100 per cent natural and renewable. Each mat is hand-stenciled, and the
dyes are fade resistant and eco-friendly.
