Battery-powered greenhouse tech in Arizona

In part of a cross-curricular science, tech & engineering sustainability program, one Tempe Union (Arizona) high school in the process of developing cutting-edge battery technology that will power a greenhouse.

The program, supported by Chevron Energy Solutions, involves each high school having a ‘Living Laboratory’ where students can conduct tests of renewable energy and efficiency technologies.
