Van Paassen received his master’s degree from Delft University of Technology.
Hoogendoorn’s R&D department is well-known for its innovative greenhouse controls. Recent developments include the Aircokas concept for semi-closed production, plant sensors (such as the stomata sensor, or Sensiplant), and the new “iSii” climate computer.
