Farm energy audit training in Minnesota

The Minnesota Project coordinates the ‘Farm Energy Auditor Training Program.’

The number of Minnesota farm energy auditors has recently gone up – way up.
‘The Farm Energy Auditor Training Program’ has recently graduated 13 auditors. Prior to this program, there were only four registered farm energy auditors statewide.

The program’s goal is to significantly increase the number of fully trained, qualified energy auditors serving Minnesota farms and rural businesses. It is a joint initiative involving the Minnesota Department of Commerce, U.S. Department of Energy, and the Minnesota Project (a nonprofit group dedicated to improving sustainability across Minnesota).
