New intake of the Agricultural Clean Technology Program opening

A new intake of the Agricultural Clean Technology (ACT) Program – Adoption Stream will open on June 1, 2023. This new intake of the ACT Adoption Stream will provide non-repayable grants between $25,000 and $2 million to help producers purchase and install equipment that reduces greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions or provides other associated environmental benefits.

Ontario, Canadian governments invest in agricultural leadership development

The governments of Canada and Ontario are investing more than $2.3 million over three years through the Sustainable Canadian Agricultural Partnership (Sustainable CAP) to support 4-H Ontario programming. This funding will allow 4-H Ontario to continue to engage youth interested in a career in the agriculture and agri-food industries.

Farm Family Outreach team responding to need in ag industry

Kori Kuryvial and Emily Freiberg are the Farm Family Outreach team and that team oversees the Farm Family Outreach program that was launched by Family and Community Support Services in February 2023. The Farm Family Outreach program was founded because farm families have unique opportunities and challenges presented to them and as such, “standard” support programs often do not properly address their concerns or properly support them.

Royal Brinkman Canada adds new sales manager

Royal Brinkman Canada has hired Josh MacIntyre as its new sales manager.
