Nov. 11, 2013, Vijfhuizen, the Netherlands — The fourth edition of IFTF, coupled with the debut of IHTF Expo, closed their doors last Friday after a very successful week.

More than 300 exhibitors and 23,241 from 114 different countries participated in the three-day show.

Together with the FloraHolland trade fair, the events combined for almost 1,000 exhibiting companies this year, making it the largest floriculture event in the world.

“The next challenge will be to grow the fairs towards the largest horticulture trade event in the world,” said IFTF and IHTF director Dick van Raamsdonk. “All ingredients for a world horticulture expo are there to make that happen and Holland is the ideal country for such an event.”

Some 8,000 square metres of space will be added next year, creating a show of some 32,000 square metres.

The IHTF as a name will disappear next year and the two shows will collectively be known as IFTF Expo.

IFTF will be held again next year from Nov.5 to 7 in Expo Haarlemmermeer in Vijfhuizen, Holland. Click here for updated information.
