Downtown Montreal retailers can stay open late

Nov. 26, 2008 – Downtown Montreal retailers have finally received
permission to stay open later on weekends – but only on a trial basis.
Stores
in the city core will now be allowed to remain open until 8 p.m. on
weekends, various officials said yesterday, effective immediately. The
