Dig.Drop.Done teams up with Scholastic

September 26, 2012  By Canadian Garden Centre & Nursery

Sept. 26, 2012, Winston-Salem, NC — Dig.Drop.Done is getting kids, parents and teachers excited about bulb gardening with a timely, and simple, fall promotion.

Now through Oct. 30 (excluding Quebec; until Nov. 30 in the United States), bulb buyers are eligible to receive a free gardening themed book from Scholastic when they purchase any bulbs with the Dig.Drop.Done logo on the package. Buyers simply mail in the packaging along with a redemption form and Scholastic will send them an age-appropriate book.

The gardening-themed book is a great learning tool for parents, children and teachers. Also while the promotion lasts, Scholastic is providing hands-on planting projects, information about bulbs and garden-related crafts on a dedicated web page: www.scholastic.com/digdropdone.

“Dig.Drop.Done is providing an excellent opportunity for parents and teachers to give children a quick lesson on flowers, and to give them a hands-on learning experience,” said Henk Westerhof, spokesman for the Dig.Drop.Done Foundation. “We are so thankful to Scholastic for their participation in this promotion and couldn’t think of a better partner to help bring the joy of bulb planting to a new generation.”

Scholastic is also assisting Dig.Drop.Done in its efforts by featuring the promotion and helpful gardening tips on the Scholastic website.

The redemption form, promotion rules and additional details can be found at www.scholastic.com/digdropdone.
