AAS national award for new Basil Dolce Fresca

Dec. 18, 2014, West Chicago — PanAmerican Seed is celebrating a 2015 All-America Selections national award for Herb Basil Dolce Fresca. This win continues the company’s national recognition for high-quality vegetable and herb breeding.

Herb Basil Dolce Fresca is a sweet Italian leaf basil with a tidy appearance on a unique bushy habit. It resists the urge to grow tall or leggy, and still delivers traditional basil leaf size and flavour. It performs well in gardens and patio containers, and is sure to please kitchen gardeners next season.
