Dec. 12, 2013 — Industry colleagues are mourning the passing of Peter van Stein, “Mr. Javo U.S.A.”

Mr. van Stein passed away on Nov. 26.

Colleagues and ex-employees of Javo U.S.A. posted the following tribute in an article in today’s HortiDaily.


“Our beloved colleague, passed away at the too young age of 68. For over 30 years he represented Javo in North America. We shall always remember him for the enthusiasm he brought to his work, his spontaneity, and the famous handlebar moustache of  ‘Mr. Javo U.S.A.’ We join together in sending his wife and family our deepest condolences. He is already greatly missed!”
