Celebration for the CGC
November 26, 2008 By Dave Harrison
This was indeed a special year for the Canadian Greenhouse Conference.
A special feature of this year’s conference, in celebration of the 30th anniversary, was a keynote presentation by noted environmentalist Dr. Patrick Moore. As well, Leona Dombrowsky, Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, was on hand to tour the trade show and officially open the conference.
The conference theme was, “Just One Thing,” a reference to the benefits of learning about even just one innovative process, technique or technology to help improve productivity and profitability. Several photo displays showcased the early years of the conference.
