
Dec. 11, 2008 – Two major Canadian banks have downgraded their economic forecasts, with
one projecting an outright contraction in the Canadian economy next
year of nearly one per cent and the other saying it is leaning toward
abandoning its projection of marginal growth next year and adopting its
